EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field required.
• Master’s degree, or higher in science, engineering, or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of applicable experience as a Scientist, or related field with a bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a master’s degree is required.
• 2 years of experience will also be accepted with a PhD in science or engineering, or related field.
• Project management experience is highly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Strong Chemistry or Biochemistry background, Capable to test and analyze the chemical/Biochemicals in the laboratory environment.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and manage cross-functional teams, influence business partners and get results through others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) – ability to communicate across all levels internally and externally.
• Excellent leadership, customer orientation, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Flexibility and understanding of business impact to address immediate priorities and still manage timeline with longer-term projects and pivotal initiatives.
• Ability to work in a laboratory, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of established Quality Systems, ISO regulations and/or cGMP.
• Knowledge of enterprise resource systems such as E1 or SAP.
• Thrives in a sophisticated work environment; has ‘can-do’ demeanor.
• Excellent teammate and team builder.
• Attention to detail.
• Customer focused.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally if required (<10%)
