Description:
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and external partners to provide engaging and educational activities and to enhance CCA offerings.
- Schedule and coordinate all co-curricular events, ensuring they do not conflict with academic schedules and major school events.
- Coordinate the scheduling of relief teachers for planned and unplanned teacher absences, including illness, professional development, and other leave requests.
- Communicate with teachers to gather information about upcoming absences and specific instructional needs for each class or subject area.
- Maintain accurate records of all co-curricular activities, including participation rates, budgets, and program evaluations.
- Ensure all activities comply with school policies, safety guidelines, and relevant regulations.
- Gather feedback from students, parents, and staff to continuously enhance program offerings.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff about available co-curricular opportunities and schedules.Address parent inquiries and ensure they are well-informed about forthcoming activities and opportunities
EDUCATION VISITS:
- Support Academic team with administration support for trips including but not limited to preparing/ processing necessary documents, forms, and purchase requisition requests for the trips
- Support the Trip leaders with coordination between various stakeholders or vendors as necessary
- Support the Education Visits coordinator with regards to any training or administrative support as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a school environment.
- Proficiency with technology and software tools for event planning and management.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
- Strong organizational & administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities and emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in student activities, event planning, or a related area within a school setting is desirable but not required.
