Telework Information: This position is eligible for an office-centered hybrid telework schedule with up to two days of telework and three days or more onsite, per week.
This is a Limited Term position for a duration of 12 months that may be extended up to 24 months and/or may become permanent.

Our Human Resources Division is currently seeking a Staff Services Analyst, will consider Associate Governmental Program Analyst, to provide career services and outreach support to CalPERS Team Members and drive our CalPERS mission.

The Career Services & Outreach Analyst is responsible for:

  • Providing career development assistance to CalPERS team members
  • Providing support with external outreach
  • Coordinating and leading CalPERS’ Student Internship, Informal Mentoring, and Upward Mobility Programs
  • Representing CalPERS at employment, outreach, and marketing events to help attract a well-qualified and diverse candidate pool for CalPERS job opportunities
  • Developing and presenting various training presentations and informational sessions
  • Organizing CalPERS’ Career Development Day, career development and mentoring events, and performing special project work
