We are looking for a passionate and driven leader to support our hiring and recruitment operations. The incumbent will primarily lead a team of analysts in developing and executing recruitment strategies to continue attracting qualified talent to the Labor Commissioners Office.

Under general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I serves as the recruitment and employee retention manager for the Labor Commissioner’s Office. The incumbent oversees and supervises the recruitment arm of the Headquarters/Admin Hiring Section. The Recruitment Managers is responsible for developing and administering recruitment, workforce, succession, and retention plans. The incumbent leads in developing innovative recruitment strategies to attract applicants to the various enforcement programs within the Labor Commissioner’s Office; identifying partners, including colleges, associations, and non-profits to attract candidates; identifying and representing at outreach forums and events; and consulting with branch managers regarding recruitment needs and strategies.
