As a Staff Software Engineer on the Financial Profile team, you’ll play a lead role in defining, designing, and building high quality server-side services and applications. This team is responsible for seamlessly integrating external third-party investors’ financial data and providing services to enable internal product groups to develop UX/UI applications.

For this role, we need someone with confirmed enterprise software development skills to re-define, re-think and evolve our data integration platform. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills. It is essential that the individual is pro-active in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • 7+ years of software design and development experience.
  • Expertise and experience with ReSTful API design and development using Java and Spring framework.
  • Proficiency with SQL and databases including MSSQL server, and NoSQL DBs such as DynamoDB.
  • A huge plus would be experience with building AWS-based microservices, using AWS technology stack such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation and more.
  • Another huge plus is experience in with extracting microservices out of a Monolith and Domain Driven Design techniques.
  • You must be a great teammate: You help your peers accomplish shared goals and you care about learning, growing, helping others do the same.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to definition, technical design, development and maintenance of key components and features of our product using Java (Spring, Hibernate), and AWS cloud technologies.
  • Analyzing current solution architecture and design and proposing solutions that increase business value, optimize performance, and improve quality.
  • Participating in setting a vision and objectives for the team in alignment with business and technology initiatives.
  • Actively collaborating with the other engineers on the squad through code reviews, pair programming, interactive design sessions and team retrospectives.
  • Reviewing code developed by other developers and provide feedback (e.g., style guidelines, code efficiency, maintainability, and testability)
  • Writing unit, component and E2E test to comply with code coverage measures.
