Static Occupational Therapist – Stroke

To provide a specialist Occupational Therapy Service to Neuro patients as delegated and directed by the Stroke OT Team Lead / Clinical Specialist OT in Neuro Rehab. To be responsible for a delegated caseload of patients, to assess patient needs, plan intervention and evaluate patient care within objectives, protocols and procedures of the service. To promote integrated, multidisciplinary working practices that supports a seamless transition of care. To support the Team Lead OT, Clinical Specialist OT in Neuro Rehab, Professional Lead OT and Service Manager with service development, helping to implement policy and policy changes and to set and monitor standards of practice.
To delegate work to and assist in the supervision of band 5 OT, OT apprentice and OT support staff, providing training as require
