We are expanding and are looking for the following to strengthen our customer team as soon as possible in Weßling a Static Stress Engineer (System installation & Cabin) (m/w/d)
Your tasks will be:
- Conduct static analysis and simulations using industry-standard tools to ensure the structural integrity of cabin components.
- Provide technical expertise in the development and integration of installation and cabin systems.
- Stress analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures using hand calculations, ISAMI, GFEM and DFEMs
- Application of appropriate static, fatigue and damage tolerance design values from standard references
- Creation of FEMs using geometric data from part & assembly drawings
- Sizing of primary and secondary parts for static and fatigue requirements
- Support production and maintenance teams by resolving structural-related issues and providing technical guidance.
REQUIREMENTS
About you:
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in static analysis and structural integrity assessment within the aerospace industry (minimum 3 years experience)
- Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) software, especially in NASTRAN
- Knowledge of installation and cabin systems in aerospace applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent english
- Professional german is a plus
