Job Description: Are you an experienced cook ready for a new opportunity? A position has opened up for a Cook at a cattle property near Daly Waters, NT for the season. While prior experience in station cooking is advantageous, it’s not essential – we’re seeking someone with a genuine love for preparing hearty meals and ensuring the crew is well-fed and content. Situated 100 kilometres east of Daly Waters in the Northern Territory, our expansive cattle station covers over 1.5 million acres and supports a breeder mob of around 22,000.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior cooking experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to manage time effectively
• A desire to provide station crew with hearty meals
• Work independently

• Prepare delicious & hearty meals for the station crew, visitors & pilots
• Maintain a clean & well-organized kitchen
• Ensure a variety of options of cakes, biscuits, salads & cold meats for staff to prepare their lunch
• Have breakfast options available
• Create a variety of desserts for the crew
• Flexibility to assist with other tasks such as moving sprinklers, mowing the lawn
• Restock & order directly with the owners
