Title: Statistics Lecturer
Salary Range: $3,634 - $4,996 per month
Contract Term Length: 10 Months
Standard Hours: 37.5

JOB SUMMARY
This is a full-time, lecturer appointment in the Mathematics and Statistics Division. The position requires flexibility of scheduling and includes online and in person instruction at BCTC Newtown campus and occasional non-standard locations in Lexington and Frankfort.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Statistics, OR
- Master’s degree in Mathematics with at least 9 graduate hours in statistics, OR
Master’s degree in a related field with at least 9 graduate hours in statistics and 9 additional graduate hours in either Mathematics or Statistics (18 graduate hours total)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least two years of teaching experience with both face-to-face and online formats

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for teaching 36 credit hours annually. This includes creation, update, and delivery of course content, utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback, curriculum development, course design, and student outcome assessment. The position will require some non-standard start and end dates and teaching at locations in Lexington and Frankfort.
Additional requirements are regular availability for students through office hours and any college/system required trainings.
