Description:

Are you a qualified CA/CPA or equivalent with a passion for statutory reporting and financial accounting? Our client is seeking a motivated Statutory Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and liaise with external auditors.
  • Participate in half-year-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified CA/CPA or equivalent with a strong academic background in accounting or related field.
  • Experience working in an ASX-listed company or Big 4 mover.
  • Proven expertise in statutory reporting and financial accounting.
  • Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
