ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of this position is to ensure all equipment being used in ward areas and operating theatres has been cleaned and sterilised to the highest quality. The Sterilisation Technician is primarily responsible for the preparation, sterilisation, storage and thermal disinfection of reusable medical & surgical instruments and equipment to prevent the transmission of infection, working within a large team under routine supervision.
We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, hardworking team players for a permanent part time vacancy within our busy Sterilisation Department. This is a physically demanding role involving shift work and some on-call availability.
