JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Controller at our Rola Cars dealership in Somerset West. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of our dealership’s inventory, as well as assisting in the procurement and distribution of vehicle stock.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a stock controller within the automotive industry essential
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and terminology imperative
  • Strong administrative & multi-tasking skills
  • Assertiveness & Supervisory skills required
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Must be able to perform under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including tracking arrivals, departures, and location.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with sales, service, and finance departments to ensure timely and efficient processing of vehicle transactions.
  • Monitor vehicle aging and implement strategies to minimise aging inventory.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory status, sales performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to facilitate the procurement of vehicles and parts as needed.
  • Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures to optimize inventory management processes.
  • Provide support during physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory variances
  • Vehicle Invoicing & Cerditors processing
