JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Controller at our Rola Cars dealership in Somerset West. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of our dealership’s inventory, as well as assisting in the procurement and distribution of vehicle stock.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a stock controller within the automotive industry essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends and terminology imperative
- Strong administrative & multi-tasking skills
- Assertiveness & Supervisory skills required
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Must be able to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including tracking arrivals, departures, and location.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and finance departments to ensure timely and efficient processing of vehicle transactions.
- Monitor vehicle aging and implement strategies to minimise aging inventory.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory status, sales performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to facilitate the procurement of vehicles and parts as needed.
- Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures to optimize inventory management processes.
- Provide support during physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory variances
