    JAXAM are now currently recruiting for an Experienced Storeperson to join our team, on a 6-month casual contract based out of our Cardiff Facility. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Storeperson is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations for the JAXAM Workshop and Store and will perform a variety of duties, including: Parts interpreting, stores duties, parts allocation, receipting of goods, storage, dispatch, stock-take, and ongoing security of JAXAM inventory.
    It is the duty of the Storeperson to support the provision of parts and other stores to meet site and workshop requirements, to ensure the physical accuracy and security of JAXAM inventory at both the site and warehouse levels. The Storeperson is also responsible for compliance of JAXAM inventory management and WHSE practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management of warehouse stock including receipting of goods inwards/outwards
  • Ensure accurate recording and documentation completion
  • Perform manual picking and packing duties
  • Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment
  • Stock-take of warehouse and site inventory as required
  • Maintain and support warehouse housekeeping requirements
  • Operate forklift as required onsite
  • Ensure a timely service for our internal customers
