Job Description:
- The learnership offers individuals the opportunity to be trained in both sales floor and service desk operations in a retail setting.
- Emphasis will be on working with customers and managing stock.
- Success in this role requires a commitment to learning, completing logbooks, preparing for assessments, and demonstrating competency as a versatile sales consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work a minimum of 120 hours
- Acquire knowledge and skills
- Prepare for assessments
- Assist customers in locating merchandise
- Implement store merchandising following MBP principles
- Process payments and purchases using the POS system
- Open new accounts
- Control stock losses
- Foster customer relationships
- Ensure customer security and safety
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Grade 10
- Maximum Grade 12 or NQF Level 2
- Interest in fashion and retail
Competencies:
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Loyalty, commitment, and high energy levels
