We are currently hiring for a Stores Assistant to join our Procurement team at Carton House.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Full clean drivers licence is essential.
- Experience operating forklift desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- A real understanding of hotel operations.
- Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day to day transfer of goods from the loading bay to designated areas.
- Assist with stock takes and ordering of food when required.
- Check all deliveries against order sheets and delivery dockets to ensure correct items and quantity received.
- Keep storage areas and loading bay in a clean, neat and tidy condition.
- Label products and organize storage areas as necessary.
- Supervise suppliers when on site and during any work carried out.
- Maintain an efficient system handling, coding and tracking of products through the procurement system.
- Perform physical inventory monthly and submit reports to management.
- Ensure invoices are processed and sent to finance department.
