Gain fast track access by developing the payer value proposition to drive reimbursement and lead engagement towards understanding the clinical and economical worth of our entire portfolio. Lead the access primary research plan to assess opportunities potential, understand the access flow, stakeholder mapping and payer value driver.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in natural sciences, economics, pharmacology or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in market access, external affairs, or value & pricing
  • Pharmaceutical / biopharma / healthcare sector experience mandatory
  • Very good understanding of the Mexican healthcare system on both national and regional level
  • A deep understanding of the Mexican payer and political landscape and the different stakeholders
  • Fluent English

Responsibilities:

  • Leads access and reimbursement strategy for key brands across CFT.
  • Customize value messaging for therapeutical areas and medicines in pre-launch and launch phase, and as needed also in-line medicines with relevant market access tactics.
  • Lead segmentation of payers and translate into strategical and tactical engagement plans.
  • Sets the strategic direction of the brand in partnership with the integrated brand teams focusing on the impact of evidence generation to accelerate access.
  • Lead the adaptation of Global Healthcare Economics models to accurately reflect local environments.
  • Lead dossiers creation for HTA submission applying high standards of operational excellence.
  • Seek Innovative model development opportunities in the market.
  • Develop the payer value proposition to drive reimbursement and lead engagement towards understanding the clinical and economical worth of our products.
  • Communicate to key decision-makers, government, and health institutions (IMSS, SSA, ISSSTE, Private Insurance) the results and implications of the pharmacoeconomic value of our products to ensure a clear understanding and maximize the possibilities of access.
  • Leads Implementation and development of education / communication tools to deliver BMS’ products value story and payer partnerships proposal.
  • Coordinate Strategic Access Boards
  • Execute the Value Story, Price, and Payer Partnership Strategy
  • Coordinate with the Business Area cross-functional actions to generate access.
  • Monitor the reimbursement status by product/ payer.
  • Lead the stakeholder mapping.
  • Communicates the unique attributes of the therapeutic area drugs to external stakeholders to ensure the drug’s value proposition will be recognized and maximize market access and accelerate uptake.
  • Secure training curriculum for SAMs
  • Definition of capabilities and KPI´s for SAM team for performance follow up and clear communication of expectations to SAM team.
  • Ensure cross-functional team work.
