Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking to expand our Business Development team at our Edmonton office by welcoming a dynamic, and driven sales professional with a growth mindset. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for proactively generating new business and managing existing accounts and will approach sales with a solution-oriented, relationship-based mindset, and demonstrate an ability to meet sales targets.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the staffing industry or business-to-business (B2B) service sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of generating leads through cold and warm calling, marketing campaigns, research and networking.
  • Experience working with corporate leaders and key decision makers (including the C-Suite) and proven success in building relationships at this level and securing business.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts, including contract negotiation, cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Strong hunting and prospecting skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required for this position.
  • Flexibility in hours of work based on the needs and requirements of clients.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

New Business Development:

  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Develop strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client issues or concerns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and client-specific challenges to provide proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement.
