The Strategic Automotive Partnerships team builds and maintains long-term strategic partnerships with automotive OEMs. Waymo is building the World’s Most Experienced Driver and we partner with automotive OEMs to deliver our unique technology. As a member of this you’ll have a tremendous effect on Waymo’s future as you define, develop and execute these vital partnerships.
This role will be hybrid on-site at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA and report into a Director, Automotive Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop automotive partnership and business development strategy based on research, expertise and understanding of Waymo’s strategy and goals.
  • Structure and negotiate complex, first-of-kind deals with partners, including deal term negotiation, contract review and drafting, and project management
  • Manage automotive OEM partner relationships from initial discussions and relationship management through agreement closing and ongoing operations.
  • Develop compelling partnership terms that benefit both Waymo and our partners.
  • Collaborate with teams including engineering, legal, business operations, marketing, and finance to support partnership development and management.
