For Danfoss Power Solutions in Nordborg we are looking for a Strategic Buyer for supplier development and performance management of a global supplier portfolio.

You will become part of a dedicated and competent CCS Global Procurement team, where you will refer directly to the Director of Procurement in CCS.

The position is in Nordborg, but could be considered also Hybrid with 3 days onsite. We would for the right candidate consider relocation inside EU. (only EU)

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, business, engineering, or any other relevant field.
• Have at least 3 years of experience within above listed fields
• Possess experience with Strategic procurement within industry.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Danish will be a plus.

As a person, you have a strategic mindset and possess a good business acumen as well as strong analytical skills. You can deal with complexity, and able to find compromises between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests. You have strong stakeholder management skills, a proactive attitude, and self-driven approach that make you a great contributor to any team.
Last but not least, you are experienced in interacting with senior management stakeholders and are an excellent team player, understanding that effective communication skills are essential for achieving success.
As you will be part of a truly global company you must expect a certain number of travel days, 10-20% domestic and/or international.

As Strategic Buyer you will be responsible for a range of strategic procurement activities, to ensure supplier performance and development on both short- and long-term basis. You will be working across several global functions and serve as the link between Supply Chain and external suppliers.

As such your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead strong supplier relationships to drive cost reductions execution, capacity management discussions, delivery accountability.
• Coordinate ramp up and ramp down activities for new and continuous improvement projects.
• Complete Logistic Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers.
• Facilitate supplier workshops to improve supplier performance.
• Coordinate Change management process for changes and new projects.
