Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CPO, and leading a small team, this is an exciting brownfield contract management leadership role. In this role you will lead, develop and maintain the contract management strategy, framework and services.
This will enhance the contract management capability and practice, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency and compliance, and achieving best value outcomes as well as the strategic objectives and business needs. Across the organisation there are over 500 diverse contracts ranging in value from $50 million to $5 billion so it’s an exciting and diverse role.
FURTER ASPECTS OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:
- Develop and maintain a contemporary, business focused contract management framework and model.
- Deliver effective governance, oversight and support for the operation of major strategic contracts and deliver high standard, effective contract management services to the organisation.
- Provide governance, oversight and support services for non-strategic contracts(operational) to ensure they are managed effectively, deliverables and operational outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure sustainability, social procurement and other key strategic and operational objectives are embedded in contract policy and practices.
- Develop reporting and analytics to monitor organisational and procurement performance; and
- Provide leadership, direction and effective management of the contracts management team.
