As an Strategic Engagement Associate, your role will be to support the Commercial Business by putting together a framework that can be repeatedly leveraged whenever ANZ Commercial has to engage with Regulatory bodies like APRA specifically for Digital initiatives. Additionally, you’ll work with digital initiative teams within Commercial to help them determine when, how and if reporting or engagement is required during a project lifecycle, and collaborate to ensure that ANZ’s communications with APRA are of the required standard.
The Strategic Engagement Associate is responsible for the following:
Partner with leaders within Commercial digital, as well as our Risk, Assurance and project delivery partners to develop a robust, clear and comprehensive playbook for APRA engagement. This framework must:
Demonstrate Consistency of terminology and information
Narrative focus of high-level documentation to paint a coherent customer, business and technology journey in a sustainable with a risk based approach
Flex across ongoing initiatives and projects within Commercial Digital to determine their obligations and requirements around reporting to APRA
Co-Lead, in conjunction with program/project leaders, Compliance and Risk teams the development of any documentation reported to APRA
Take a proactive and iterative approach when documenting communications to APRA
.
Create estimates and continuously reviewing demand for reporting work; balance conflicting workloads across different projects or initiatives within Commercial Digital
Leverage tools for optimal collaboration and knowledge sharing
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis or documentation
Optimise workflow management to ensure traceability back to strategic alignment
Continuously validate completeness and accuracy of documentation and processes

Role Type: 18-month Fixed Term opportunity

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Good understanding of technology concepts, ability to translate complex technology concepts into easily consumable information across a range of mediums
Strong written communication skills, with a methodical and systematic approach
Ability to adapt, analysis and learn in a fast pace environment
A desire to continuously learn new techniques and technologies, bringing innovative ideas
Previous experience in copy writing or technical writing, or policy/procedure writing will be highly regarded
