Description:

A job at Proximus? You’ll find that everything revolves around the idea ‘Think Possible’. This means: we always assume that something is possible, even if it seems impossible. Well, especially so, actually. Call it a way of thinking that involves being open to a world of digital solutions that make our lives easier. And our way of working smarter.

As a Strategic HR Advisor you ensure a daily professional and continuous “HR liaison” with the business unit for which you are responsible. You advise and coach the BU Leads as well as the Proximus Leadership Team (PLT). Together with the Leads of the various divisions and your Strategic Advisor colleagues, you will develop a strategic vision and offer and implement the best HR solutions in the short, medium and long term. You are a key player in important structural changes in your business, such as reorganizations, takeovers, …

  • You organize talent reviews to get a good picture of the talents in the organization so that a funnel can be built up in the context of the annual ‘Succession’ exercise for the PLT.
  • Coaching and providing individual support to the PLT give you satisfaction.
  • In case of open PLT positions, select the right person together with the BU Lead.
  • You monitor the ‘Workforce’ costs (budget, forecast and 3Y plan), together with your FIN BP.
  • You prepare the monthly ‘Sourcing Boards’ in your business unit, lead these meetings and you are responsible for delivering and updating a ‘Strategic Workforce Plan’.
  • You will analyse the developments of the staff (both internal and external), map the developments and needs in terms of skills and develop the right strategy based on your findings.
  • You follow up on the actions taken in the context of employee satisfaction (Speak Up).
  • You coordinate specific HR initiatives or projects for your business unit, together with your colleagues HR Business Partners with whom you develop a close collaboration to efficiently serve your business unit with adequate HR solutions.
  • You initiate discussions in your business unit to set up new structures or collaboration models if this improves effectiveness and productivity in your business unit. You encourage the use of new Agile working methods.
  • You ensure good social dialogue, if necessary by attending trade union consultations yourself, …
  • You strengthen the ‘Think Possible’ culture, you personify the company’s values and inspire the Leads of your business to adopt the appropriate leadership style.
  • You are a driver of change in your business.
  • As HR SPOC of your business unit, you actively participate in projects, squads, etc. initiated by HR or by your business.

Your main stakeholders are the Proximus Leadership Squad (ExCo), the Proximus Leadership Team members of your business unit, all HR departments, an external HR network (similar companies, niche companies, HR consultancy companies, HR trendsetters,…).

Your Profile

  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You have already built-up solid experience in a similar position and/or you are extremely motivated to delve into all aspects of HR.
  • You are able to develop a strategic vision.
  • Your pragmatic and analytical approach as well as a good understanding of data are an asset.
  • As a real bridge builder, you translate between business needs and possible HR solutions.
  • You excel in stakeholder management, are able to build a long-term relationship of trust with senior management where you adopt a coaching attitude.
  • You have strong presentation skills and act with impact.
  • You support the ‘Think Possible’ culture and you motivate stakeholders to introduce new working methods.
  • You are trilingual: FR – NL – ENG

Is this a role that makes you say: “Couldn’t that be the right next step in my career? ”
Don’t wait and submit your application today!

What do we offer you?

  • We are 100% Belgian. So we make decisions in three languages. And all at the same time if you like!
  • We are open to everyone: M, W, X, and in fact all the other letters of the alphabet.
  • We encourage personal growth. At the Proximus Academy, you won’t even want to miss a session.
  • We are, of course, committed to sustainability. What else did you think?
  • We firmly believe that working together is important, but that having fun together is even more so. That is why we regularly organise fun activities. (Please let us know if you have a talent for playing Santa Claus!)
  • We believe in responsibility. Also in yours. For example, you can take it to launch your own initiatives.
  • We put our customers first. And because we are all customers somewhere, you already know what that means. That’s good.
  • And the ever-important work-life balance? We keep it in the right place.
