POSITION SUMMARY: STRATEGIC HR BUSINESS PARTNER

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Strategic HR Business Partner. QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 7+ years of demonstrated work experience in primary responsibilities described above
  • Extensive knowledge of HR principles and federal/state/local regulations
  • Prior experience working in a multi-client environment is required
  • Proficiency with ADP WFN, Paylocity, Paycor, or UltiPro/UKG software
  • Must be self-directed, motivated and possess an ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to establish solid relationships with all levels of an organization, strong influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to meet strong deliverables with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Ability to create, analyze, and report data as it relates to HR metrics
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information
  • Excellent ability to manage competing priorities
  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with team members and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is essential
  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred
  • Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Apply HR principles and practices to client’s overall business strategy, make recommendations to improve approach and/or processes
  • Ownership of performance management process including new hire reviews, discipline, and mid-year/full year appraisals depending on client needs
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies/procedures as required
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the buildout and delivery of data-informed talent management programs.
  • Collaborates with clients’ leadership to understand their unique goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, to support the organizations human resource strategy needs
  • Administer leave programs, including paperwork, and comply with all government regulations
  • In collaboration with clients’ senior leadership teams, lead compensation planning activities including benchmarking, budget allocation, rewards planning, market wage analysis, pay grades, pay transparency processes, and ensure compliance to FLSA.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and updates in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to clients’ leadership and employees
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and strategic oversight to leaders/managers on a variety of human resources topics, including employee engagement and retention, learning and development opportunities, benefits programs, staffing and recruitment planning, and involvement in the employee lifecycle
  • Work with various HRIS systems and optimize usage for HR process efficiency.
