Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3 years of work experience in pricing, analytical, BI, or finance roles; 1 year in a strategic pricing role.
  • Experience working in global environment, multi-national responsibilities.
  • Strong research and synthesis skills; be able to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Experience with modeling techniques and pricing frameworks, including value and transactional pricing methodologies.
  • Expert in evaluating and developing processes.
  • Expert in using analytical and BI tools.
  • Attention to detail, action-oriented, and results driven.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Famililarity with low-volume, high complexity business models.
  • Moderate negotitaions skills and prior negotiations training preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and understand current pricing methodologies then develop and execute future action plan to improve and simplify overall pricing policies and proce-dures.
  • Establish improved pricing processes from day to day to long-term priorities and continue to evolve processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of operations are scalable and repeatable.
  • Ensure global consistency of pricing for same/similar products and services.
  • Price in the context of targeted customer profitability, contribution margin, and understand and guide price mix per customer.
  • Work collaboratively with the regional leadership, finance, operations, sales, and product management teams to design and execute strategic pricing initiatives to help drive growth and profitability.
  • Develop pricing models on negotiations for the sales teams, align with finance, and give the final content and guidelines to sales on what and how to negotiate.
  • Work with the regional business teams to define and report metrics that support the business objectives and create performance transparency for effectiveness of pricing actions.
  • Engage global and regional sales team and product management to establish actions for improvement in areas that show variance to pricing improvement ex-pectations and co-create plans with sales leadership to drive pricing results.
  • Work with Procurement, looking at actual costs, raise the flags, and drive price increase actions as needed.
  • Closely coordinate with procurement team on buyout pricing and pricing status.
  • Work with the business teams to set targets, implement strategies, and define procedures necessary to ensure consistency across pricing actions and decision-making.
  • Lead globally and operate as part of a focused pricing organization embedded in the regional business teams.
  • Leverage and use multiple data sources/BI, internal and external, along with sys-tems and databases to provide actionable insights through reporting and analyt-ics; turn insights/BI into profit driving business decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership; regularly conduct proactive analysis and sponsor cross-functional workshops to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business performance through pricing actions.
  • Lead and direct regional pricing team members to provide leading and lagging KPIs for pricing initiatives, compile reports and dashboards to distribute to stake-holders across the organization.
  • Monitor and report overall effectiveness of pricing execution, work with regional pricing teams to analyze gaps and transparently communicate performance.
  • Administer and manage customer-imposed pricing reporting needs.
