Description:

STRATEGIC PRICING ANALYST

The Strategic Pricing Analyst provides strategic, financial, and analytical support for customer deals within CoverMyMeds’ Program Pharmacy and Clinical Research Services business units. This individual will contribute to business pricing strategy as well as develop and accurately maintain profitability models. This role will also be responsible for managing special projects and ad-hoc reporting needs. It will require collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations, Contract Admin, IT, and other key groups. The Strategic Pricing Analyst position will be in Las Colinas, TX, Atlanta, GA, or Columbus, OH, and report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Pricing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience with 1+ years working within a complex pricing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Accounting or Finance) with MBA or MSA preferred
  • Up to 20% travel required
  • General office demands

CRITICAL SKILLS

  • Profitability modeling experience
  • Excellent Financial modeling skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills working with leaders across multiple functions to make strong business decisions
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and demonstrated ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Adaptable to change within a dynamic, matrixed organization

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines with appropriate level of delegation to team members

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adhere to the pricing strategy, structure, guidance, and governance of strategic product launches and existing offerings
  • Provide financial and analytical support to assess current and future performance of deals and programs
  • Develop and maintain complex profitability models using large amounts of data
  • Analyze and understand industry market trends, competitor tactics and offerings, products, margin opportunities, and communicate to management as necessary
  • Champion and lead standardization of new best practice processes, procedures, and templates related to product pricing and deal management
  • Manage deals and lead projects including establishing timelines, deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations
  • Navigate and build relationships with key stakeholders within sales, operations, finance, and other functional teams
