We are looking for a Strategic Programs Leader to drive critical initiatives and projects in support of Global Technical Sales (GTS). In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams, including Global Sales, Global Field Enablement, Customer Success & Experience, Go To Market Operations, and Products & Technology.
You’ll be asked not just to lead and organize initiatives for Global Technical Sales but also apply your subject matter expertise and experience to drive decisions and actions on initiatives across the company.

WHO YOU ARE & WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED:
- BS/BA or greater, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ in an operations or strategy role working with go to market functions
- Alternatively, 3+ years in solutions engineering with demonstrated history of driving business initiatives and projects
- 5+ years of experience in the software or technical consulting industry, preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to build content for a range of audiences with limited feedback
- Experience with fiscal and strategic planning including leading cross-functional planning workstreams and GTM operations
- Experience in program management, project management, and/or software product launch
- Experience working on complex programs that require understanding and representing all facets of go-to-market operations
- Demonstrated ability to bring together cross-functional teams, coordinating and holding stakeholders accountable for program success
- Proficiency in building polished deliverables for audiences ranging from executives to execution teams
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic projects on behalf of global technical sales, leveraging diverse expertise and an execution oriented approach
- Define new business process and identify optimizations to existing processes to advance and scale Splunk’s go-to-market strategy
- Surface gaps and opportunities within the Global Technical Sales portfolio
- Support organizational strategy and planning, including both fiscal and key initiatives
- Represent the needs of technical sellers and key go to market considerations in cross-functional forums
- Develop a technical sales strategies, and plan to support revenue objectives, growth and retention
- Identify and track metrics through planning and execution. Analyze and present this data to stakeholders to help in achieving the business goals
- Manage internal and external communication to provide transparency for your teams
