YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in electrical engineering, or another similar technical field. Candidates without a technical degree will not be considered.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, engineering, project management or program management within wireless industry
  • Experience and understanding wireless test and measurement eco-system, especially in regard to non-signaling testing
  • Innovative and organized sales leader who can organize tasks across multiple groups to move activity forward to close business
  • Proven experience in the field of cellular and connectivity technologies like 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, UWB, & Bluetooth
  • Passion for finding, developing and winning new business opportunities
  • Self-starter. Ability to manage, influence, and set the direction of multi-faceted, multi-disciplined teams and programs independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to articulate a vision and influence decision-making and outcomes both within internal teams and external partners through exceptional communication skills
  • Experience with SW solutions for production and manufacturing RF devices, chipsets and components
  • Experience with contract manufactures in China, Taiwan, India, Vietnam and Thailand
  • Willingness to do some international travel when required – Germany and Asia

The total compensation for this position is $180K-$240K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop RF production business opportunities with US customers for 4G/5G/6G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC/ZigBee, UWB and GPS
  • Strategic sales planning and execution for large production accounts and opportunities
  • Define overall opportunity strategy from both a commercial and technical perspective, by working closely with customers, local account managers, local applications team and R&S product teams
  • Close engagement with customers to align R&S solutions with current and future looking production requirements and evolutions
  • Follow competitive solutions and adjust our strategies accordingly
  • Gather and contribute feedback from customers and industry to help influence the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software products
  • Work across multiple product development fronts to ensure product relevancy, successful introduction into the market, and its timely delivery
  • Organize and lead inter-departmental meetings to drive customer requirement discussions, define project tasks, and set project and development milestones
  • Coordinate and prioritize production level engineering support within the US
  • Prioritize customer projects based on opportunity size, development/support efforts, and timelines to best balance support needs vs maximizing growth
  • Follow up on closed business to make sure things are working as they should and to track additional opportunities
  • Work with Account Managers to drive customer discussions and investigations with the long-term goal of developing strong partnerships for the future
  • Above all else, be a partner to our customers
