STRATEGIC SOURCING SENIOR MANAGER – EERT (Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey)

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a leader within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, the Strategic Sourcing Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing and handling the overall sourcing and supplier management processes for the Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey (EERT) Sub-region. You will also partner with business process from EERT region to source goods and/or services aligned with Amgen’s sourcing policies and processes in order to deliver business requirements at fair market value total cost and minimize risk exposure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director, Global Strategic Sourcing, the main responsibilities include:

  • Lead engagement with business partners across EERT related to Sourcing agenda & deliverables, within remit.
  • Influence and develop broad regional productivity / saving programs and initiatives aligned with Regional and Global Category Plans.
  • Lead and drive across-functional sourcing strategies and develop a multi-year productivity / saving agenda to add new value and meet business goals across EERT sub region.
  • Support CFO as part of Amgen’s productivity system in coordination with FP&A and partners.
  • Interaction with the GMs, BU´s and Directors – high exposure to the Staff members.
  • Ensure early involvement & demand planning of sourcing projects
  • Be a talent manager and develop direct report across diverse cultures
  • Participate in Regional Sourcing teams and Global category strategy development.
  • Ensure effective management of sourcing strategy development, selection and contracting processes, supply base control and performance and the sourcing process.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting regional actual spend, trends, savings, forecasts, and supplier base data on the basis of pre-determined, relevant and measurable KPIs.
  • Define and document sourcing priorities, sourcing strategies and associated plans and agree with partners, combining outcome of analysis and sourcing initiatives.
  • Identify and define specific stakeholder requirements.
  • RFx definition: define evaluation/selection criteria, lead RFI/RFP for Sourcing strategies above the threshold and partner with ACCP sourcing team to lead RFI/RFP processes below a certain threshold based on the Sourcing strategy.
  • Supplier evaluation & performance improvement: evaluate & establish target supplier performance.
  • Continue to use SRM programs to reduce enterprise risk and to gain access to external innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with Sourcing Policies requirements (Local and Global).
  • Benefits tracking: develop, implement, maintain, and report Key Performance Indicators that clearly reflect the achievement of objectives in each business area.
