ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a result of a period of sustained growth, we have the opportunity for a passionate and naturally curious individual to join our strategy team as a Strategy Analyst.
Reporting to the Strategy and Corporate Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives across the OTR business. In addition, you will support corporate development activities such as M&A, partnerships, and other commercial projects.
The role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional who is seeking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to senior business members and decision makers.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering analytical support, structured thinking, and insights to the development, execution, and monitoring of key strategic initiatives.
  • Providing timely and high-quality evaluations to support major investment decisions, including robust modelling and business case development.
  • Supporting M&A opportunities for inorganic growth, including creating valuation models and providing financial analysis.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Accounting, Law or similar.
  • Up to 3 years of previous experience in a top tier accounting, consulting, or in-house strategy team.
  • Excellent understandings of strategic and financial concepts. Being able to think both commercially and strategically to analyse and resolve complex business challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Being able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to build trusted relationships.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with a real passion for translating analysis into clear and meaningful insights.
  • Excellent judgement. Being able to identify business goals and prioritise tasks to achieve these goals under broad direction and tight timelines.
