Strategy Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Strategy Analyst to be based in our Sydney CBD office. This role has been created to support the strategy and initiative delivery through strategic insights and data-driven decision-making for the Medical Indemnity business line.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Analyse market trends and opportunities through competitor analysis.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and align strategies.
• Conduct research to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
• Collaborate on the development of strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic thinking and planning processes.
• Apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

• Tertiary qualifications in an analytical or numerate discipline.
• Prior experience in management consulting or the insurance industry is preferable.
• Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial projections and analysis.
• Understanding of key business drivers, their impact on the business and using this information to drive informed decision making.
• Strong time management and resource prioritisation skills.
• Strong Excel reporting and data manipulation experience.
