The opportunity

  • Be part of the AUSPAC Strategy team and collaborate closely with our business divisions (Consumer, Business, Claims) to solve challenging problems and assess new business opportunities.
  • Influence our business’s direction by partnering with SMEs, delivering high-quality communications for senior executives and the board. Apply strategic problem-solving techniques and receive mentorship from a seasoned strategy team with extensive consulting and internal strategy experience.

Your new role:
Reporting to the Senior Strategy Manager – Strategy & Design, you will be responsible for leading projects and workstreams end-to-end, owning analysis, proactively driving forward outputs and managing senior stakeholder relationships .

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Structuring complex ambiguous problems and defining options and plans to solve them
  • Extracting insights from complex analysis
  • Leading or playing a key role in stakeholder workshops and presentations
  • Manage smaller project end-to-end or owning a key workstream in a major project
  • Coaching junior team members including analysts and graduates

Your story so far

  • 3+ years of experience with minimum 1 year experience in strategy consulting, investment bank or corporate strategy team
  • Strong academic record and social achievements
  • Superior proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to quickly generate slides for Executive and Board communications
  • Demonstrated deep experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving, frameworks, and project management
  • Superb written and oral communications with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence decision-making and develop strong stakeholder relationships
  • Financials services / insurance experience is an advantage
