Summary
We are looking for a “Strategy Manager (f/m/d)” for the “Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions” division at the Ulm location as soon as possible.
The Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions (SDAS) division is responsible for our Spectrum Dominance portfolio (Electromagnetic Warfare, Signal Intelligence and Cyber Operations) and Airborne Solutions.
Spectrum Dominance ensures the dominance of the electromagnetic spectrum through its offensive and defensive use as well as support measures and applications of signal intelligence with regard to evolving and hybrid threats. Airborne Solutions includes avionics for manned and unmanned, military and civil platforms, as well as standard integrated airborne mission systems.

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for the definition of the SDAS strategy including the portfolio strategy in close coordination with the portfolio management, taking into account the strategic objectives
  • Definition, coordination, implementation and controlling of the SDAS strategy (sales, portfolio, R&D, M&A, international industrialization) in line with the corporate strategy and business development
  • Development of measures to achieve the divisional strategy in close coordination with the SDAS business units
  • Contributing to the portfolio strategy in coordination with portfolio management for marketing and communication
  • Ensuring consistent communication of the strategy between internal (Business Units, Sales, Engineering) and external stakeholders (Group, Business Development and COO functions)
  • Support the creation of the SDAS business plan and contribute to the overall SDAS reporting to the HENSOLDT Board and ExCo

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree in engineering (computer science / electrical engineering), economics or similar
  • Several years of proven professional experience in the areas of strategy and portfolio development and management
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking and assertiveness
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, persuasiveness and conflict resolution potential
  • Business fluent German and English skills
