YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS
- Demonstrated skill at organizing and planning work within tight deadlines.
- Detailed attention to requirements and ensuring quality work.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and common sense at work.
- The ability to work independently and maintain productivity unsupervised.
- The discipline to maintain required safe work procedures in any environment.
- Experienced at working well in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Current Driver’s license is required.
- Familiarity with the National and Ontario Building Codes, CAN/CSA S16, A23.3, O86, S304 and other design guides is an asset
- A working knowledge of Structural Engineering Analysis/ Design Software such as: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, S-Frame and WoodWorks is an asset.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
