Description:
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for* a Structural Engineer* opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.
Work Location: Greenville, SC
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Structural Engineer will develop, implement, monitor, and ensure compliance with Civil/Structural engineering procedures, practices, tools, and methodologies related to capital project development and execution and related areas.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects.
- Experience in renovating and modifying existing facilities.
- Proficient in computer-aided drafting applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional Engineer (P.E) License
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must Be a U.S. Citizen
- Working knowledge of Federal (including DOE Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects.
- Conduct construction document reviews.
- Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.
