Description:

We are offering a rare opportunity for an engineer to join the team. Why is it rare? Because the culture and staff retention rate is very high.
This is a genuine position for a long term employee to settle in and join our team.
With 30 years of history behind us along with many well established clients and a strong reputation within the residential construction industry you can be assured that we are not another start-up.
Our team is what sets us apart.
About the role:
Unlike other firms, our team members are not pigeonholed into one type of project. You will be working on a variety of projects which can range from a simple single story residence to a variety of inspections and investigations all the way up to luxury multi millions dollar residential and development projects.
All of our highly trained staff are based in our Osborne Park office. Of course an engineer needs drafting staff to turn their design and concepts into a good looking set of documentation and that is where our highly skilled draftspersons are very knowledgeable and do not require constant feeding of basic information. This frees up our engineers to concentrate on what they do best, designing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful addition to our team will be required to:

  • Undertake structural design in accordance with Australian Standards and industry best practice.
  • Interpret architectural drawings and identify structural systems within a building
  • Analyze, design and neatly detail structural elements within a building. This includes but is not limited to design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry elements.
  • Undertake site inspections as required.
  • Assist to develop and provide guidance for drafting staff to understand engineering principles to obtain a greater knowledge base.
  • Research and development into new products, design techniques and structural systems.
