We are recruiting for a Structural Engineering Technician Apprentice to join our friendly and innovative Leeds Structural Engineering team, who are involved in a wide variety of challenging and exciting projects both locally and further afield.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED IN ORDER TO ENROL

Typically an apprentice will be expected to have achieved at least 5 GCSEs at Grades 4-9 including Maths, English and Science or their equivalent. In addition a BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship or one/two A level (s), in a relevant subject such as maths or science.
Alternative qualifications and relevant experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • A keen interest in the built environment and a strong desire to learn new skills and software
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented focus, including an ability to work in a team environment
  • A positive and inquisitive approach and the confidence to ask and respond to challenging questions
  • Experience of working with 3D modelling packages is an advantage but not essential
