Nacelle Structure Sub module is part of the Nacelle module, which is responsible for all design and development of components in Rear structures and Heli hoist. The Nacelle structure department is working across the Nacelle module to secure first quality in both development and processes.
The Nacelle structure sub module is international with departments in Portugal and India.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical / Structural Engineering
  • More than 10 years of professional experience in FEA-ANSYS and product development
  • Experience with ANSYS Structural calculations.
  • Technical leadership & Project management skills (technical project management)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Submodule technical strategy, submodule roadmap, needed performance steps and modularization
  • Responsible for Submodule requirement management (receive product requirements, alignment of requirements between sub-modules and technical management)
  • Deliver functional area roadmap for continuous improvements and keeping the area up to date.
  • Responsible to ensure that relevant design guidelines, processes and tools are in place, up to date and certified; leading the scoping of updating if required
  • Supplier clarification and evaluate proposals impact within functional area
  • Sign-off within functional area on Design Reviews and Peer Reviews on cost and quality
  • Responsible for component requirements within their functional area
  • Responsible for keeping DFMEA updated with NCRs and CIM findings
  • Define and align with stakeholders and certification bodies the transition plan for new or updated guidelines
  • Communication and training plan for new guidelines or technical updates
  • Monitor developments in standards and guidelines and update accordingly
  • Participate in standards committees
