Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Configures, installs, dismantles, and reconstructs systems as required by customer and directed by manager. Typical projects include running cable (CAT 5, CAT5e, CAT 6 Ethernet cable), connecting wiring to jacks, hooks, servers, and interfacing with other technologies in security, IT and Audio/Video.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years industry experience with low voltage/data communications.

Responsibilities:
Install systems to meet applicable standards and codes.
- Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by customer and/or contract.
- Work safely and responsibility to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of material.
- Complete documentation of installation as needed.
- Test operation of equipment to signal receiving center to properly establish service.
- Read building, electrical, and data blueprints as required.
- Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook up procedures.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor s direction.
