STUDENT ASSISTANT - ASSOCIATE PROJECT CONTROLLER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a dedicated team of +45 professional project controllers with a broad experience coming from different nationalities, who are in charge of controlling the largest execution projects in NNE. Our team is in Kalundborg and Virum in Denmark and Bangalore in India.
You will be employed in the Project Controlling department, which is responsible for controlling NNE’s largest execution projects. We belong to the Project Management VP area and work closely with many stakeholders in the organization.
As management support you will support the management team with administrative, practical and communication tasks with a focus on making the Project Controlling department run as smooth as possible. You will be guided in your tasks by the members of the Management team.
Your controlling tasks will be delivered in collaboration with a Senior Project Controller who will have the overall responsibility, but where you can play an important role by contributing and taking responsibility for sub-tasks in the large project. You will also be responsible for a number of smaller projects/tasks yourself where you will be in front together with the Project Manager and must ensure to deliver at the agreed time and quality. The Senior Project Controller will be your Mentor.

Examples of supporting management tasks, but not limited to:

• Practicalities related to seminars, team events, social activities and workshops e.g., book facilities and take care of stakeholder communication
• Update presentations and department communication
• Meeting reservation, order breakfast/lunch for meetings
• Supporting the management team in ad hoc task

Examples of controlling tasks, but not limited to:

• Cross functional controlling task e.g., burn rate reporting, weekly reporting
• Controlling hours, expenses and travel cost
• Reconciling ERP systems
• Ad hoc cost analysis in exce

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• Graduated or soon to be from CBS in Economics or equivalent bachelor’s background
• Experienced in the use of digital platforms
• We work in PIMS, NAV and SAP and expect that you easily get acquainted with new systems, if you do not already know some of them.
• Experienced Office 365 user
• Excel is your best friend, and you can code and structure data yourself in a convincing way
• Maybe you know some about Power BI, Query – this would be an advantag
