POSITION OVERVIEW

Hafnia is seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications & Brand Student Assistant to join the team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Communications & Branding Head, based out of our Copenhagen office, with a role covering all offices (Singapore, Copenhagen, Houston, and Dubai). You will benefit from gaining hands-on experience in corporate communications and branding within the maritime industry whilst contributing to Hafnia’s Best on Water vision.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • An interest in the oil and gas and shipping industries
  • Strong writing skills in English
  • Graphic design or video editing skills are an advantage.
  • Excellent capabilities in PowerPoint and other communication tools
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Interest in digital marketing and social media (LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Fluency in Danish and English
    It is not a requirement to fulfil all skills for the right candidate.
    The right candidate is a strong team player and must be able to relate to and work well with all layers or the organization. They should also be able to work independently, be able to be flexible with their working hours, and have a keen eye and interest for the industry and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    The average working hours will be between 10-20 /week.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • More than 2 years remaining before graduating with a master’s degree.
  • At least one year of experience working in a corporation or communications agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies to promote Hafnia’s brand and values.
  • Create engaging content for various communication channels including social media, newsletters, and internal communications platforms.
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with Hafnia’s commercial objectives and brand identity.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, market insights, and competitor analysis to inform communication strategies and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated communication initiatives.
  • Assist with the management of Hafnia’s digital presence, including website updates and content management.
  • Provide administrative support to the Communications & Branding Head as needed (and sometimes to the People, Culture and Strategy team which the function sits under)
  • Assist with all communications and branding materials, including presentation templates, image databases and corporate gifts.
  • Handle ad-hoc communications and branding requests.
