Description:

Do you want to learn how sourcing plays an important role in building sustainable aquaculture for the future? Then you might be our new Student Assistant in BioMar Group Sourcing.
You will be joining a dedicated and international team of colleagues in the Group Sourcing department located in Aarhus, Denmark.
At BioMar, sustainability plays a key role in our supplier relationships. We have made a pledge to ensure responsible sourcing of all our raw materials, as they count for over 95% of our environmental impact, while having a considerable social impact.
If you are interested in responsible sourcing and take pride in robust and meticulous documentation, we would love to hear from you.
Help us ensure responsible sourcing

Working from our office in Aarhus, your tasks will include:

  • Engaging with suppliers for evaluations, document retrieval, and questionnaire assessments.
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with our Code of Conduct.
  • Managing corrective actions.
  • Analyzing and reporting on supplier performance and market trends.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining contracts.
  • Traceability registration and reporting.
  • Supporting project initiatives led by our Project Consultant:
  • Tracking task progress with suppliers and task owners.
  • Analyzing critical data to enable project completion.
  • Assisting with data migration.
  • Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Tackling other ad hoc tasks within the Group Sourcing department.

Results are created by people
We prioritize the right personality over specific work experience. For this role, it is important to us that you are structured, detail-oriented, and analytical. We are looking for someone who is self-driven and eager to learn.
The role requires that you are comfortable with engaging with colleagues and suppliers to ensure task progress and compliance. This also requires that you are service-minded and have an inquisitive approach to new tasks.
As we have subsidiaries in multiple countries and many international colleagues and partners, it is a requirement that you write and speak English fluently. Although English will be a part of your daily work-life, it is an advantage if you also speak a Scandinavian language, as much communication will be in Scandinavian.
We anticipate that you are in your final year of bachelor or first year of master’s degree studies in a field that provides you with knowledge about supplier management and sustainability in supply chains, and that you are available to work approximately 12-15 hours per week.
Are you interested?
If you are interested in joining a global growth journey in an organization focusing on sustainability, please send your application as soon as possible. We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis.
