Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Student Assistant is primarily responsible for answering phones, responding to student issues via phone or Track-It trouble tickets. Guide students through Lake Hawk Mail, Canvas, starfish, LOIS, and Office 365 installs. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s values of learning, people, student success, forward thinking, commitment to excellence, accessibility, diversity, partnerships, and sound management practices.
Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating and Celebrating.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Computer literate
  • Microsoft Office
  • Clear and pleasant speaking voice

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • Current LSSC Student
  • High School Diploma or GED
    Lake-Sumter State College provides limited benefits for part-time employees, not including student employees, who work at least 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:
