Description:
Student Assistant SBL Procurement
Reporting to the Head of Procurement & Strategy Development in Mining Service Procurement Organization, as Student Assistant you will be responsible to support the development of strategic improvement initiatives. You will support in various Procurement functions.
The Procurement Strategy & Development team is part of Service Procurement. Together, we ensure that our aftermarket customers are served on time, in budget and always at the expected quality level. We are a major driver of the company’s growth and profitability targets being accountable for the major portion of our COGS. The global Procurement Strategy & Development team has the overall strategic responsibility for the categories and builds the commercial fundament within Governance, SIOP, Communication & Tools. We are fully dedicated to the FLSmidth Service business and live company’s values and sustainability goals every day.
Your responsibilities
- Track contract terms, expiration dates and renewal deadlines (maybe in excel file and stored on team - need for an overview instead of searching in SAD every and each time.
- Data analysis, helping when I have analysis tasks from e.g., Regional ERPs, SIEVO, or MyOrders, for SI&OP, GCPDb, or other projects, (Good MS-Excel skills and analytical mindset) ,Prepare spend reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders or presentations.
- Dashboard creation, mostly to analyze data and test dashboard designs before sending them to development (Power BI skills or the ability to learn quickly. Also requires analytical mindset)
- Small projects management, hand over small projects where follow-up and stakeholder management are needed (project management skills, structure, and stakeholder management)
- Day-2-day help, all the small tasks that eats up my time and can be handed over to a student assistant, (Flexibility, agility)
- Sustainability tracking support
- Supplier Management support
- Support in Governance & Process Tasks
