We are seeking a Student Worker to join the Total Rewards team within Danfoss Group HR.
The Total Rewards team is responsible for ensuring an attractive and competitive rewards and compensation philosophy that is closely aligned with the business strategy. We work globally and our decision making is based on analytics and statistics. We support our lines of business and regions with tools and analytics, as well as on compensation trends and challenges.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

We are looking for the right candidate with the right personality. Some of the “buzzwords” for us are:

  • You are in your first year of the master studies or at the end of your bachelor’s degree, preferably within economics, finance, HR, engineering, or a related field.
  • Analytical mindset and enjoying working with numbers and statistics.
  • Experience from a similar student position.
  • Preferably, at least 2 years until graduation.
  • Being confident in working with Microsoft Excel. Experience with programming and/or PowerBI is a plus but is not required.
  • Being familiar with communicating the results of your analysis.
  • Working independently and take responsibility for completing tasks within set deadlines.
  • Open minded and ready to engage with colleagues potentially from all around the world.
  • Ambitious to achieve the best possible solution for a given challenge and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Easy-going personality that wants to make a difference.
  • Service minded and helpful on the tasks we might get over time.
  • Ready to deal with ambiguity and with a variety of different tasks for a diverse team of internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

As member of the total rewards team, you will:

  • Take part and drive the development of quantitative analysis mainly using Excel; however, programming techniques would be a great benefit (e.g. Python).
  • Support with various reporting to internal and external partners, e.g. annual salary data collection and reporting to vendors, compensation scorecard etc.
  • Participate and individually perform ad hoc benchmarking on salary trends and issues to various stakeholders in the organization.
  • Participate and support in other development activities and from time-to-time support on administrative tasks.
  • Support and assist with analytics for global rewards project and programs and develop tools that can either benefit the team or the business.

Most of the team is located at our office in the heart of Copenhagen or at Headquarters in Nordborg. We are flexible when it comes to your work-location but prefer someone who can regularly be in the office.
Working hours will be planned according to your studies. We do however expect that you can work approximately 15-20 hours per week with less hours during exams.
