JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Student, Data Analyst will support data analysis activities within the domain of DBAS platforms. The Data Analyst Co-op’s role is to provide data modeling/analysis services used to analyze enterprise systems and applications data to enhance business processes. This role will also assist in other data analysis activities that support the operational activities of the DBAS team. As part of Digital Business and Technology Solutions, Digital Business Automation Services (DBAS) works with all areas of Sun Life, supporting our business partners by providing technology solutions needed to achieve business excellence.
Work Environment: This opportunity is a hybrid position with a 3 day in-office requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Extract data from source systems
- Define and build all required dashboards and analyses.
- Work with the Data Engineers and Process SMEs to dive deep into the data looking for insights and translating them into actionable findings.
- Develop reports and material in various formats to communicate findings to non-technical users.
