Description:

Our student and new graduate programs offer a chance to explore Sun Life from the inside. You’ll make a difference in the lives of our customers and communities, while building the skills and experience that allow you to grow in a meaningful and rewarding way.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sun Life’s Chief Technology Office (CTO) Employee Experience Delivery (EED) team’s mandate is to provide a frictionless technology experience to all Sun Life employees, focusing on enterprise tools that enhance productivity and collaboration (such as the Microsoft Teams, MS365 and Workplace). The team supports many internal IT partners by providing guidance and tailor-made solutions in the areas of communication, adoption, change management and training. By fostering strong relationships with the IT teams, business groups and employees the team provides services that are employee centred.
The Student’s responsibilities within EED will be focused on supporting the overall mandate of providing a frictionless technology experience – through end-user communication, driving adoption, fostering peer-to-peer learning, employee listening, data analysis and much more. This will also include the creation of end user documentation with subject matter experts to enable all employees to effectively leverage available tools and services. Representing the voice of the customer, the Specialist will lead proactive service improvements. This will require significant collaboration across the CTO and IT groups to leverage centres of excellence increasing and achieving deliverables. Considering business- and employee needs, the Student will help drive the service evolution, as well as provide visibility into service performance through executive reports. This will require strong communication skills. Applicants should be individuals with strong, demonstrated collaboration skills, are detail-oriented, have proven experience communicating the value of technology solutions to non-technical business audiences, are creative in developing communication material, and thrive in a deadline- and objectives-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop communication material, service documentation and best practices to support increased adoption and effectiveness of services
  • Manage peer-to-peer learning and adoption platforms for collaboration and productivity tools
  • Gather employee feedback about collaboration and productivity tools
  • Analyze data and create reports with recommendations
  • Support change management projects as needed
