the job
In this role you will assist IFU’s legal team with legal tasks, and you will gain broad insight into the daily tasks
in a legal department. You will solve internal tasks within e.g. company law, compliance and updating of
standard documents, as well as external tasks for IFU’s investment team.
Your primary tasks as a student in the legal team will be:
- Legal work, e.g. preparing draft agreements, reviewing and commenting on drafts by other parties
- Legal research
- Updating standard documents, internal directives and guidelines, tax overviews, international lawyers’
lists, etc.
- Administrative work regarding subsidiaries, e.g. drafting minutes of annual general meetings and
board meetings and making registrations with the Danish Business Authority
- Compliance tasks, e.g. reading new legislation relevant to IFU, updating policies
- Legal ad hoc tasks
Your work schedule will be flexible, 15-20 hours weekly, taking exams into consideration.
the team
You will be part of the legal team of nine people, including two students. The team solves many different tasks,
and no two days are alike. The legal employees are all lawyers with international experience, and some have
the right to appear before the courts in other countries. So, there is ample opportunity to gain experience with
complicated transactions, international investments, international organisations, etc.
Joining IFU, you gain a job in a unique international investment fund, and you will be part of the team of
students across IFU., who are assisting and helping on key areas in the organisation. As a student in IFU,
you will get familiar with how we work and create impact through investments in developing countries and get
exposure to the investment process and impact creation work, working with experienced colleagues and other
students.

qualIFICatIonS
You are enrolled in a university level law degree program. Furthermore, you plan to continue with a relevant
master’s degree.
- study MA Law or Business Law
- You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- You are self-motivated, responsible and meet agreed deadlines
Furthermore, it’s an advantage if you:
- Have general knowledge of company law and financial law is an advantage
