Description:

Student Midwife – Shortened Midwifery Programme for Adult Nurses
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurses who would like to join our team to complete their conversion course to become Registered Midwives.
You will need to have current NMC registration in the UK and have experience of working as a Registered Nurse. You will also need to meet the entry requirements for the course.
You will be paid as a band 5 throughout your training and all course fees will be paid by NHSE.
The student midwife will be required to conduct self-directed study and complete the educational aspect of the Kingston University programme
The student midwife will attend maternity placements at HHFT in both the acute and community setting to achieve the skills and knowledge needed to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements
