Student Research Assistant

at  The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Assists with biological/health sciences research under supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) or Laboratory Manager; conducts library research; prepares media/solutions and reagents for experiments; performs various research techniques in the conduct of experiments with assistance from lab members; documents, organizes, and analyzes research data with oversight from senior lab members; operates complex laboratory equipment with the assistance and oversight from senior lab members.
Minimum Education and Experience
High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work experience and/or completion of coursework in the basic sciences, including biology and chemistry required; proficiency with basic science laboratory equipment and techniques desired. Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
