Description:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Progress towards a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or equivalent
  • Previous office experience and working in a team environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a self-directed, team-based work environment
  • Ability to understand and apply team quality and performance standards
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or foreign degree equivalent
  • Experience in training and web conferences

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain training and certification programs for his/her area of specialization and provide training for Military Education Coordinators and staff as needed
  • Provide troubleshooting and operational support to field staff (Military Education Coordinators and Academic Advisors) in all area of student services (admissions, enrollments, military portals, transcripts, grades, records, financial aid, veteran’s affairs)
  • Liaison for his/her area of specialization with the UMGC overseas and stateside regions
  • Work collaboratively to establish best practices and assist with identification of issues, problems, and procedures
  • Monitor the area of specialization to ensure compliance with UMGC contract requirements and university guidelines
  • Plan, coordinate and organize student outreach activities
  • Other duties as assigned
